The Red Six-Legged Linkia Starfish is a stunning addition to a reef. Its Six Leggs sets it apart from the common five-legged starfish. These stars should only be kept by EXPERT aquarists who have confidence in maintaining STABLE water parameters as the Red Linkia is very intolerant of changes in water chemistry.

Tank Size: A tank size of 80 gallons is recommended.
Water Parameters: Maintain a temperature of 72-78°F (22-26°C), a pH level between 8.1-8.4, and a specific gravity of 1.024-1.026.
Feeding: The Blue Linkia Starfish has a very unique diet and feeds primarily on MATURE Live Rock and needs a tank that is at least 1 year old with plenty of Live Rock. Small pieces of clam or pellets can be placed under the Red Linckia Sea Star starfish to supplement its diet.
Compatibility: Fire Shrimp are peaceful and compatible with Reef Safe Fish and Inverts but avoid keeping them with large predatory species that can eat them.
